TIMES LIKE THESE.
international nurses day 2020
In times of crisis we all have the ability to come together to support each other. As businesses, as people, and as a community.
This week celebrates International Nurses Day. To acknowledge the courageous nurses at the frontline of the COVID-19 outbreak, and in preparation for International Nurses Day, we partnered with our client EASTLAND to give something back to our local nurses, midwives, physicians, health care providers and first responders at Eastern Health.
These reusable coffee cups and coffee vouchers from EASTLAND were donated to form part of a ‘care pack’ provided to staff at Eastern Health as a gesture of our appreciation. From the team at SOURCEY.M and EASTLAND, we would like to thank all healthcare professionals for their self-less commitment and dedication, particularly in these uncertain and difficult times. Our hearts go out to you and your families as you continue to deliver compassionate care for the vulnerable people in our community.
As we are living in a very different world than we were a short time ago, we need to stop and consider how our fellow community members are coping with the current situation. Let’s all do whatever we can, however we can, to show our united support. And let’s not forget to celebrate our front-line health-care workers for what they are: heroes.
A message from Eastern Health
“On behalf of Eastern Health, our nurses and midwives, I would like to extend our sincere thanks for your generosity and willingness to help us celebrate International Day of the Midwife and International Nurses Day.
2020 is the Year of the Nurse and Midwife, and what a year it has been. Our staff are facing once in a lifetime challenges due to the COVID-19 pandemic. It has been a year of hard work and uncertainty.
To see the smiles on the faces of our staff yesterday as they received their EASTLAND coffee vouchers and keep cups from SOURCEY.M was very uplifting. They were very well received.
Thank you for this kind and generous gesture. We know our staff will enjoy using their cups and visiting EASTLAND for a very well-deserved coffee break.”
